Welcome 2019
Time is coming close to fold days of 2018, wave hands and bid the farewell to the year 2018, Welcome 2019.
That means it’s time to forget many things and leave behind, it’s also time to carry forward many things. Things to forget and leave behind are all sadness, sorrow and failures; to carry forward are all good memories, moments which made you happy, smiles and learning from mistakes we made.
The 2018 Year! Really colourful for me. The year, was great in terms of teaching, it gave me a lot on every front. I made great trips to many places and was lucky to meet old friends and made a few more, sadly few left behind too. I started learning how to forgive, the joy of forgiveness is much more easy to learn rather wasting your energy to plan an act of revenge. And more important spent good time with beloved known and unknown friends. During my travels, I met many unknowns and knowns and some people put their impression for the lifetime on me and those are really impossible to wipe or remove from memory.
Kids they are the great teachers in this world and this little cutie taught me too, meet people whom you really don’t know, try to talk with them without any intention of giving or take. Laugh as much as you can with strangers. Talk to kids more often and play innocent games with them and see how much happy you will be.
Some people put their impression lifetime and those are really impossible to get away from memory. I met this lovely kid on one of my trips to Spiti during summer months, 2-3 years kid from Hikkim village. The village is known for “highest post office” in the world at 4440 meters. He started laughing at me and called his friends once he saw me struggling with the horse as it was really not in a mood to cross a small water stream next to his house during my ride. Later, I was welcomed with a tea and a huge smile to his house. Happy time lasted for 30-45 minutes as my co-riders were getting their horses ready for the race. Finally, the time came to say bye to a tiny place and cute friend. I was really happy to see him on the window to wish me luck for travel and I had promised myself to return once again and I did that too few times.
“Often, we get pulled in different directions and are unable to devote time to ourselves. We do not take out the time to think and reflect and just reflect upon without thinking. This can leave us dull and tired. A few quiet moments every day are the source of creativity and energy. Silence heals, rejuvenates and gives you depth and stability. Sometime during the day, sit for a few minutes; get into the cave of your heart, eyes closed, try to touch the unknown corner and keep the world away.”
Feel Grateful!
Our love, faith, and belief should be deep-rooted and then everything else moves on its own. The feeling that “I am blessed & believe in yourself” this can help us overcome any failure or bad time. Once you realise that you are blessed, then all the complaints, disappointments and grumbling disappear, all the insecurities disappear and you become grateful, contented and peaceful and more important you will be empty with full of happiness.
Welcome, 2019! Wish you the great new year ahead and hope you have great memories to carry forward and no worries no sorrows.
And yes hope to cross paths someday somewhere middle of nowhere.
